Nah just joking. Anime Expo wasn't shit. It was THE SHIT! I had an amazing time!!!

It all started Wednesday morning, after successfully packing all 9 of my cosplays into a VERY overstuffed suitcase. My dad picked me up and we headed over to get Eiji from her house. Once we picked her up we headed to the airport where we met up with Sara , Parker and Kame-chan . I brought my Ike sword with me all packaged in a box, but it ended up being oversized. They said I could ship it out there for 50 bux but then I'd have to pay 50 bux again to bring it back. GHEY! Kame-chan called our friend Megan who was driving and she said she could bring it back to Utah for me if I got it out there (I love you guys!!!) so I paid the 50 and shipped it out to Cali.

The plane... ugghh... I *hate* flying so much. Hid my face in Sara's lap during take-off and landing. It sucked ass but I was glad when it was over. After that we headed over to the hotel and got into some quick cosplays to head over to the pre-reg line at the con center. I went as Hobo-Phoenix with Kame (we were twins lol) while Eiji went as Sai and Parker as Shuichi. Sara wore my Ike bandana and we headed out. The pre-reg line was HUGE. It wound in humungous line with about an hour and a half wait. It sucked a ton of ass. We finally made it through and snagged our badges. After that we were tired so we headed back to the hotel and snapped a couple cosplay shots. I really liked the Hobo-Phoenix ones with Kame-chan. XD Later that night after we'd picked up food, Sara, Parker and I went swimming for a while. There was this funny drunk girl who kept staring at me (LMAOWTFGTFO) XDDD. We were way tired after that so we headed back up to the hotel but found that the rave was being hosted in our hotel so Parker, Eiji and I danced to that for a while and then headed off to bed. XD

The next day was the first day of the con and I was STOKED. I threw on Ranulf for the Fire Emblem gathering and we walked to the con. We met up with EBK and he took some pix (Much <3 4 EBK) of my Ranulf, Parker's Misty, Eiji's Lelouche and Sara and Kame's Rock and Revy. It was really cool! We all walked around for a while exploring the con and met up with Christian to get his waiver signed for the skit we were performing on Saturday. Once that was done we walked around for a bit and I headed back to the hotel to refuel on some food, recharge my camera battery, iron Formal Kamina and redo my my make-up and fangs for the gathering. The gathering was AMAZING. There were so many cool FE cosplays, especially the Janaff and Leanne @_@;;; I got so many pix! I'm prolly gonna put some of 'em up here on DevArt. Anyway, after that we all met up for a while in the West Hall and then Sara and I headed back to the hotel to change into Formal Kamina and Formal Yoko for the Masquerade Ball. The Ball failed, as most of the music wasn't very formal music and seemed more like a rave (which was kinda disappointing) so we went back to the con and hung out there for a while. Then we went to Subway with Christian, Parker and Emily . We were gonna do a photoshoot but I ended up passing out on my hotel bed and Sara's wig was being a bitch so we didn't . Maybe another time? *shrugs*

The next day was Friday and the PW gathering was at noon, along with our costume judging for the skit. The others headed out (Eiji as Lelouche, Parker as Shuichi and Sara as Yoko-Lagann) while I stayed to help Kame-chan with her Steel Samurai. I was freaking her out a bit when we couldn't find the white duct tape which was entertaining XD. "Don't worry Kame, we can use SPORTS TAPE and you'll look... *special*" "Don't worry Kame, I'm sure SOMEONE will take a picture of you..." Oh man she was ready to pound me. XD She loves me though so I know she wouldn't. I ended up duct-taping and modeling her ropes for a while, which turned out phoenominal along with her mask/headpiece. The others came back a bit late cuz they got held up some so Kame couldn't make it to the gathering cuz she was still putting finishing touches on the Samurai. Christian, Sara and I headed to the PW gathering as Godot, Dahlia and Feenie and got some pix. We got there a little late so the general photos were already taken (sad day) but we still got some lawlzworthy ones (my favorite being a cowering Feenie in the shadow of 3 Dollies XDDD). Parker showed up with Kame a little bit later. They were barely too late for the costume judging appointment at 1 but they were able to squeeze us in at 2 (LUCKYYYYYY) so we all got judged then instead. Sara was twirling her Parasol and got her wig hair stuck in the parasol which was kinda freaky but funny at the same time. XD We headed back to the hotel after that. Sara was really dizzy so she conked out on the bed for a while. This was when we played cosplay-trade-off XDDD Sara stole Christians Godot cosplay while he stole my Ranulf. I dressed as Ike and the three of us walked around the con for while. Ike got PICTURE-WHORED which while being exhausting was still epicly amazing. I'm glad people liked it so much. We talked with Shambler and Lucario for a while and Joss and her b/f and then headed back to the hotel. We all went to Denny's and this rude bum got all angry with Kame cuz she wouldn't buy him food... it was hella GHEY. "This is how California treats their veterans!" NONE OF US WERE FROM CALIFORNIA N00B!!! GET A DAMN JOB AND BUY YOUR OWN FOOD!!! Sorry... XD He just really pissed me off. Kame offered him her leftovers which were REALLY GOOD leftovers and he got all angry. I thought it was ridiculous. Anyway, we headed back to the hotel and got ready for the rave. I dressed as "Yatta!" Ike and got hit on by people of all genders. It was still hella fun. XD I think Friday was my favorite day (crazy-ass bum and sex-rave aside). We didn't go to bed until about 4 in the morning, as Christian, Parker, Emily and I just laid down on the hotel roof staring at the stars. It was amazing.

Saturday was BUSY-DAY. I had to wake up early because the FMA gathering was at 10 and I had to get Greed's fat ass down there. I made it there in time and got a lot of good pix of it (yay EBK was there again 8DDDD). After that there was a Cosplay Mandatory Meeting for the people in the Masquerade and then it was time for the Brawl gathering. I, unfortunately, was late to the this one as Luigi and missed the Super Mario Bros. portion of the photoshoot, but I got to pose as Luigi doing the Smash Ball dance and making everyone go on an acid trip. It made me lawl. XDDD When that was over I ran around the con a bit with Sara and Christian. Caught up with Kame and Parker who were America and Canada at the time from Hetalia. It was pretty epic. XD Then we all headed back to the hotel to change for our skit. The skit consisted of Feenie, Dahlia, Maya Fey, Godot and the Steel Samurai and it turned out pretty well I think. We didn't win any prizes, but just performing at Expo was a trip in itself. Eiji as Lelouche on the other hand won, not one but TWO awards!!! It was epic win. She worked REALLY HARD on her Lelouche and her performance was so good that I almost cried and I don't even watch Code Geass, y'know? She actually majorly inspired me. I want to start working on a Tibarn cosplay as soon as possible and make it entirely myself so I can enter it in next years Expo cosplay contest for Novice Craftsmanship. I think it will raise my cosplay making experience points and also be something fun to do. Anyway, after that we wandered for a bit and then headed back to the hotel. The rave was going on, but we decided not to hit it this time around as it was kinda late. XDDD

Sunday was the last day. We got up to get ready and Christian had already headed on the plane for Denver. Kame wore Luigi while Emily wore Feenie and Parker wore Feenie. So I was like HURR HURR HURR Cuz I was at the con in three different ways when they left but at the same time I wasn't XD. Sara painted my Kamina tattoos on which turned out REALLY WELL!!! Thanks Sara. XD Then we head to carry a shit-ton of big props to the con so Megan could pick them up. I was walking up to the con and someone thought I was Ike cuz I was carrying his sword (red cape + blue hair + penis sword = Ike klawl?) XDDD. Me and Sara got photo-whored as Kamina and Yoko all over the place XD It was pretty funny. Especially when we were next to Godie as the Gurren Lagann. OMG he was so nice and it was so much fun. :3 Once the Dealer's Room and Artist Alley closed at around 4, we all headed back to the hotel to pick up the room which had turned into a disaster area. We got some of it cleaned up then took the metro to Santa Monica beach. I love that beach! GAH! The waves were so cool! I got my ass kicked by them a couple times as did Emily and Sara. We went back, packed more of our stuff and headed to Denny's to eat. Got back to the hotel room and passed out.

Monday was really sad. We packed the rest of our stuff and said good bye to LA as we flew back. Hit a lot of turbulence on the way back in ToT. That part was really scary. But it was Pannon's birthday on Monday so we all hung out with her and showed pictures and shared stories it was GREAT! As was Nickelcade and IHOP.

All in all Expo was a great time! I had a BLAST!!! I'm going to try and post some pix up from it soon so we'll see how that goes. Also, look for our skit online. XD We were skit 36 (Time-Travel Turnabout) and Eiji's was 33.
